..so I've been sick today. Little flu I think. No fun.

Emily has really been reading well lately. She went from having Tara read to her at bedtime to reading to Tara instead. One of Emily's books is about an octopus named Oscar who brings his sick friend some soup.

So naturally when Emily found out that I'd been feeling sick today, she came and asked me if I would like some soup like Oscar's friend, which I as-nicely-as-possible declined. Emily was a little confused why I didn't want any soup, so she asked Tara who explained that I wasn't the sick in a way that soup would help me feel better. Emily then told Tara, "I wish daddy was more sick so he could have soup.
